Oct. 12, 1941, Fayetteville, North Carolina) and her mother is Nola Alexis Owens (née VanHolten) b. Sep. 24, 1942, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; m. Oct. 25, 1959, Stamford, CT; d. Feb. 17, 2013, Fayetteville, North Carolina. “Van Holten” is a Dutch, Danish and North German name associated with the Dutch and Danish East and West Indian slave and opium trafficking companies, who ran slave markets in St. Thomas.

Note: Candace Owens’ genealogy records have been removed from Ancestry.com, even though those of her ostensible parents, Robert L. and Nola A. V. Owens are there. Tellingly, among her parents’ records there is no mention of Candace in birth and census records. We did find one business directory listing for her father and mother’s “Johnny on the Spot Cleaners” in Stamford CT in 1965.

The stated mission of Degree180 was “intellectual remodeling … to every single person on our planet” website with the byline “A FORWARD vibration.” (“Forward” and Progressive are code words for socialist, communist institutions)
