This describes my oldest and dearest friend (I saw her when I was in Omaha recently). She works for a large GMO food corporation (her mother is probably rolling in her grave over that fact alone). She proceeded to explain to me why 'cows farting' was contributing to global warming, etc., etc. (completely serious and with a straight face as I was clearly fighting back a smile) . . . She is an avid gardener, so when I pointed out the connection between her beloved plants and CO2,
it was almost like her brain went into 'tilt' mode. She could not form a sentence, think clearly, etc. for some minutes. It was an actual physical reaction (like watching a cyborg, almost)! . . . She is so afraid that Trump might become president again that I thought she would blow a gasket (even though she knows I am far from a 'Trumper')! . . . Politics has never been something we even discussed (since we -- I thought -- had the same values and upbringing, basically).

I have never seen a change like this in anyone before! She is double vaxxed and has had the booster. . . . I doubt I will hear from her ever again. We have known one another since we were 5 years old, and I practically grew up at her house. So sad!
