I can tell you that this treatment was developed in Australia by the scientist mentioned under the quote, which is why the substance is named BEC (after its inventor). He invented this after observations of animal behaviour upon getting a
skin cancer. The animals were found to exhibit the strange behaviour of rubbing themselves up against a certain plant (eggplant) when this happened to them. He developed the BEC cream and was selling it. However, then came the complaint from
the Dermatological Association in Australia, and the cream was banned. This is, as we may know, what generally occurs with virtually ANY treatment that actually works that is NOT produced by Big Pharma.

So, I'm happy to see that this cream has been
re-developed and sold. And I can tell you that it worked for around 20,000 Australian people who purchased it prior to its ban. We also have a weed here that you can drip on, and that apparently works too. To help prevent skin cancer, some tips are to NOT wear sunglasses outside unless you absolutely need to, ensure you do not use the usual chemical sunscreens (especially when mixed with a chlorinated pool), and eat or supplement with sulphoraphane (from broccoli, for example).

If you put mustard with your broccoli, then you will absorb even more of the active substance of the broccoli. This is very protective. The ONLY sunscreens I will use is coconut oil (although this only gives around 25% protection) or one where the main ingredient is natural zinc oxide. These are the only ones safe to use, IMO. Sensible sun exposure is also key. It is when you permit yourself to burn that you set yourself up for skin cancer. I wear blue-blocking glasses as my sunglasses, and I can spot people burning on the beach well before they realize - and I never burn. IF you do burn, I thoroughly recommend a damp cotton pad with apple cider vinegar, which is excellent for the skin (and I don't use it for anything else other than
skin).
