Your post cleared up a lack of knowledge I had for why cases can be immediately appealed to the Supreme Court. Also it cleared up why some cases are immediately filed with the Supreme Court.

It seems somewbere, a delegated power has been redelegated to those lower courts.
Maybe the oath to protect the Constitution is the connection the judges have as an extension of the judicial branch.

Venue is important.
Without revealing why, it may be worth your while to seek discovery of what venue he is being tried in.
And since all crimes are commercial, seek discovery of the agreement he failed to perform.

I understand from you, you don't mix jurisdictions.
I comprehend from them, they will act and have permission to act as long as they have subject matter jurisdiction, "and" personal jurisdiction, "and" venue.

You may believe the District of Columbia is only 10 square miles.
I am of the opinion the attorneys have figured out how to make it logically bigger than it's physical space.
In my opinion, the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court are logically in every state.
At risk of trespassing I leave it there.
Just know, if they move while challenged they know something you don't; and discovery makes them "have to tell you" what it is.
So seek and ye shall find
