A Californian by birth, I heartily agree with all the wonders this state has to offer - including many family-owned farms, not to mention a plethora of Farmers Markets. Florida may be the sunshine state, but the West Coast has the most brilliant sunlight!

Amongst the downsides mentioned we are also being subjected to FRACKING. Not only does this industry destroy our earth it also uses an inordinate amount of water to do so. But we never hear of fracking companies being asked to curtail their water usage during our multi-year drought. Gee, I wonder why...(sarcasm)

Like much of this country (and the World) we are suffering at the hands of Narcissistic Sociopaths and their sycophants. THEY may continue their evil Agendas, causing "order out of chaos", but in the end THEY will not win.

I love living here for all the reasons mentioned. It is Home. I have faith that things will turn around for us and for all life on this wondrously beautiful planet.
