Far be it from me to censor anyone --except myself-- but I feel compelled to push back against the so-called Real Raw News posts. This nitwit Michael Baxter --more than once exposed as a fraud-- asks us to swallow his lies Hook, line and sinker. His posts or neither real nor are they news. Moreover, they are so blatantly over the top, and so unlikely as to invite incredulity.

I have never made a post like this. Through the years, I have seen many questionable posts, but never once have I objected. I understand this site specializes in rumors, but outright lies do not benefit Rumor Mill News or anyone who seeks the truth. Just like Bigfoot hoaxers who claim they are raising awareness, these ridiculous postings only serve to embarrass the sites that publish them and the good people who contribute to the site.

Some of you may ask why I have not said this about readers posting about the space brothers, the motherships, or the myriad other fantastic subjects discussed here every day, surely for anyone keeping track there is plenty of subject matter one might find questionable. The simple answer to that question is that I cannot disprove them just by using my eyes (and common sense).

Michael Baxter is simply using sites like this one to further his nonsense and get money from unsuspecting readers. Witness his blatant appeal for money using the Christian fundraising site. He should be ashamed of himself. He has a lot of nerve claiming to be an honest journalist, it does not take countless hours and lots of money to make up lies; it is actually easy and cheap to do.

I would not ask RMN to censor anyone or delete posts concerning the so-called Real Raw News, but I would ask contributors to consider what they pass along, it makes it hard to take the rest of the site seriously. I find it insulting to my intelligence that anyone wants me to take it seriously.

Obviously, I am free to believe what I wish, as are we all. It goes without saying that you, dear readers, do not believe everything I believe, and vice versa. Nevertheless, I have a feeling the majority of us can agree that the eminent journalist Michael Baxter is without question the slimiest and most unreliable ‘news source’ to grace this site in some time. He is an obvious fraud, and his site is clown shoes at best.

I do not wish to be overly confrontational, but I cannot help but wonder about the motives of anyone posting this fiction to RMN. As far as I can see, posting this trash serves no one’s interest but Michael Baxter. He has his own site, let him flush it down the drain if he wishes, but leave the truth seekers at RMN out of it, RMN will be around long after this dim bulb has moved on to parking cars somewhere.

Michael Baxter would have us suspend not only our disbelief but our common sense as well. I for one am not riding that bus. Open mind? Hell yes! Empty mind? No thank you.
