I'm still a bit of a Beach Boys fan after all these years, and if you like them, you might find this interesting.

Al Jardine was a folk music fan and suggested to Brian that they re-do this song from the kingston Trio, as you'll hear him say at the beginning (much more under Sloop John B in Wikipedia).

When this was made, Dennis and Carl are gone, and there was a rift between Brian and Mike, so it's just Brian and Al and some of the musicians they later worked with, one of which, I believe, is Al's son.
