(You have a group of people in your mind you're referring to as "Americans". I think you would be mistaken to think any such group exists in joining together in some common action. Mostly, folks are living their lives within whatever conditions have been presented to them and perhaps foisted upon them by a relatively small group of people operating on less-than-nobler motives. No matter what propaganda may say or have said otherwise, I do not believe average normal people ever clamored for plastics versus glass bottles, say. And they aren't the ones who offered "recycliing" that was really "shipping your garbage to a different country".)

We have some very uncomfortable truths to face.

"Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess" does not sound as if any of us get a say in the changes that take place at the end of this Epoch.

And more than anything, if the Native Americans are in control of the land, at least this crap won't be happening ever again. The sheer amount of garbage, waste and pollution the American way of life produces disqualifies Americans from any leadership roles in the future as we've squandered our stewardship claims and willfully ignored our responsibilities to nature. You can deny it and point fingers until the cows come home, but the proof is in the pudding.
