I have noticed that a lot of web sites are in distress

This has to do with tampering. And the only way I got this site to run smoothly today was to have the server in india serve only one file, and have two monsters (one in Singapore and one in the United States split the rest of the load. Then the site ran OK but not great. It has nothing to do with the new configuration which uses absolutely no more resources than normal.

I am hitting a LOT of Apache errors on various sites, slow loads, problems with financing on other sites, problems with hosts on other sites, it is clear there is testing for a takedown going on. This site will be more robust than most, with a server in Brazil, another in Singapore, two in Iceland I now question but are working, one in India and one in the United States. I don't think anyone else has such a robust resource pool, so if this site ends up being the last one standing, that's why. They tried to kill it off completely about a month ago and even then, (3 servers less than I have now) I handled it fairly well. .
