Kerry makes a valuable point about transcending fear, and to some extent we can handle radiation exposure better when in a suitable state of consciousness, but there is a limit to how much our consciousness may override physical phenomena while we are incarnated. Our souls may indeed choose to incarnate and experience a range of unpleasant phenomena. Yes, All is One, but the physical plane is designed for experiencing separateness and duality and we can't escape physical realities just by awareness of the greater view of reality. Overcoming fear includes overcoming fear of physical death and suffering. You can be in a state of "love and light" and your physical form may be destroyed either way, you'll just be at peace about it as your spirit rises in the higher realms.
