There's an episode of Top Gear with the singer and former squaddie James Blunt as a guest. Before he does his lap he talks about how he personally averted ww3 when, during a certain embassy siege, he was given orders over the radio by an AMERICAN
General to "move in" on the Spetsnaz...luckily James waited for a senior British commander and ww3 was averted.

If cooler heads do prevail, it will be down to those for whom the choice to "press the button" can always be countermanded by the application of reason. So basically it's gotta go down to the wire because we only change at the precipice. Unless you're
me, then you were born so amazing you really just have to preserve your innate innocence and unrivaled greatness.
