Hurricane Ida is for real this time. Usually they lie about the hurricanes to push a climate agenda and I am all over the topic, pointing out how they are lying. For the first time in about 3 years they are not lying about a hurricane. Ida is very likely to be for real.

We have all watched them cry wolf repeatedly, over and over and over again to pump up the climate agenda. Ida is not crying wolf, it is already strong and is perfectly positioned to become a major storm. If your house is a flat without a basement OR if it is less than 25 feet above sea level and near the coast, you should probably pack your bags.

Ida's real rating as I see it this morning (August 28 at 10 AM CST) is category 1.5 and it is positioned well enough to become a galveston type hurricane. I am not saying it will, but it certainly could. This one is worth packing bags for even if it is not certain it will hit you. Pack them so you are more ready to evacuate if needed, fill up the gas tank.

Everyone who has read this site for a while ought to know by now that I keep track of storms, and usually ridicule how much the storms are lied about, AND I end up being right. Ida is not that. Ida is legit and is presenting itself exactly as they are stating.

I WILL REPEAT: IDA'S STRENGTH AND POSITIONING IS A MATCH FOR THE GALVESTON HURRICANE. It's predicted trajectory is different, but everything else is a match. Landfall is not predicted for Texas at this time but an equal event is possible. This time around, a hurricane is WORSE than what they are saying.
