Hi Fox,

In the midwest, the storms have been fast and furious. While that's a typical Springtime happening, this is in mid-August. The lightening is as you described, the entire sky seems lit up. I know this because I'm a storm lover and love to sit on the front porch and watch them roll in from the west.

Just the other day the lightening was flying, and the winds were almost tornado strength gusts, yet there was no tornado... My trees were bent in half, some of them broke off huge chunks.
