Regarding O.J. Simpson: Yes, they were killed by a drug cartel. Goldman was at her house to buy drugs. Just there at the wrong time. There was a lot more to it, but O.J. was innocent.

I know because I was a criminal defense paralegal at the time and worked for an attorney that assisted with the case.

At that time in history, it was considered unseemly to ever say anything "bad" about the victim of a crime in one's defense unless it could be proven unequivocally. Especially murder. And of course, it could not be proven if the law enforcement personnel would not put the time into really investigating the case. O.J. was safe. Drug cartels are not. Not to mention the financial cost of such an investigation.

That entire trial was a farce. However, it did reveal how much lying goes on by law enforcement during criminal trials. I know for a fact in California, all law enforcement personnel are given classes in how to lie convincingly. And they wonder why no one trusts them.

Justice is not what our criminal courts are about. One day this will be revealed for all to see. Mark my words...
