Every Constitution in every country that has one, has some kind of of emergency provision.

The U.S. Corporate government has the "War powers" section. Hitler had "Rule 48"

There is a Legal Maxim that states, "Emergency knows no law".
The Magic Parchment and other laws are at that point null and void.

The "War Powers" provision is authorization to declare an emergency.

To my knowledge, the fist time it was used was by Lincoln after Congress was abandoned.

I do not know if it was used regarding the War of 1812.

The declaration of Emergency at the start of the so called Civil War has never been rescinded.

The Civil War never ended either. Only Lees army surrendered.

In 1933 FDR declared a State of Emergency in his first week in office due to the banking Crises.

The War Powers was for in case of war.

Soooooo.

The Presidents are in effect. declaring a war against the "Emergency".

Congress likes that the President is in effect a Dictator.

It take away Congresses responsibility.

This Country is now under about 2 dozen emergencies.

The Emergency War Powers are at the root of "Executive Orders".

We were taught so little in the government schools.
