The arithmetic is pretty simple.

No "governing entity" is going to allow issuance of a health order that would open the entity to a flood of singular and class action law suits based on that health order. Money and power protect themselves, first.

Every order will be vetted by health departments and legal departments before any authority will be -allowed- sign it into effect.

Therefore compliance with an order by exemption -cannot- endanger anyone's health.

The mental state of any who complain or who disagree can be accurately described as superstitious, educational or intelligence level not withstanding. They are voodoo minded. Their lives are governed by uncritical faith in the pronouncements of external authorities because they are terrified at some level.

If possible, explain to the offended that every order is vetted by health departments and legal departments before any authority is -allowed- sign it into effect. The governing entity must protect itself from suit. Therefore compliance with an order by exemption -cannot- endanger anyone's health. That is legally impossible.

The above simple explanation consciously and by authority (on your part) installs a cognizant conflicting resonance in the mind of the offended whether the offended is aware of it or not. Your action is defense of self and others so there can be no charge of trespass into the life of the offended. (This is like starting a back burn to thwart the forest fire of superstition.) The offended may decide to save himself or he may decide to burn himself at the stake of superstition as an offering to the gods he has chosen. That is not your business. Move on.

Belligerence, anger, contempt for the stupid, etc. can get you cited for trespass, failure to leave when ordered, breach of peace and more. NOT necessary.

You are an example to the mindless. Be the best example that you are able to be. No one is perfect. It's flies, honey, vinegar.

The existence of exemptions indicates that the battle is still being waged and is not lost. If exemptions are removed then the game will change. Until then use them intelligently and with quiet authority.
