My father was a policeman. One of the good guys. He rescued children, assisted ambulance calls and held peoples hands, climbed trees for cat ladies and nudged (more than a few) classmates up onto the good path in life. Some of these friends never told me about his involvement until recently.. He also worked riots, arrested crime lords and worked with the Special case squad as a consultant. There is, indeed, evil out there and these men and women fight for it daily.

PS.. I knew a lot of cops, obviously. Some were wonderful, some were philandering jackasses and a few (very few) needed to be arrested themselves.

Despite the extremely long negative rant, I found the last paragraph to be interesting.

It would be helpful if Mike Adams provided examples of how to "fight for human freedom and oppose authoritarianism and tyranny" instead of pointing out how worthless everyone else is besides him.

For example, I live in San Francisco where there is a huge "Anti-Police" movement. I carry around a small "Thank You SFPD" sign that I show to every patrol car that passes by or every officer I see on the street. I make sure to walk around before and after the rallies and protests to show it to the officers on the ground.

Maybe you could ask other readers to post examples of how they can "become a person whose life really does make a positive difference in the world". I would love some encouraging words!
