It seems to me they both have applied logical fallacies to slander one another. The best solution if they are both sincere health freedom supporters would be to get together and have a sincere discussion listening to one another and coming to some agreement for a mutual apology. Unfortunately it seems they both went over the edge in attacking each other and defending themselves and are attached to believing that the other person has ill will or an ulterior motive.

Plenty of anti-vax or vaccine skeptic people besides RFK, Jr. likely voted for Hillary because they support Democrat positions on most issues or dislike Trump and didn't vote solely on one issue. Trump himself had supported the Clintons in the past so should vaccine skeptics and Clinton antagonists denounce Trump as a Clinton stooge based upon that? Vaccine skeptics come from all parts of the political spectrum and they don't all vote just on that issue. Yes, the Kennedys are a blue blood elite family that have been involved in various dark dealings across the decades but RFK Jr. is an individual and why not focus on what RFK, Jr. has done positive in the present and give the benefit of the doubt that he sincerely desires some reform with vaccine safety and the public right to choose? Kennedy could easily have just abandoned and denounced vaccine skeptics and gone along with most of his relatives, but he is caught in the middle between family allegiance and his environmental and health interests and has at least taken a stand in a positive direction.

In any movement you can't expect everyone to think exactly alike or follow an orthodoxy - that can just lead to the same sort of tyranny you may seek to overturn. Let's hope these guys can find common ground and pull back from the reactive responses.
