I've known gays that are brilliant and wonderful people and I've met gays who were selfish, promiscuous, arrogant little divas who I would not trust with my dog much less the upbringing of a child. Of course I see this in straights, too.

While I support anyone's right to deny/or grant service at their own business; I find it nonsensical to try and force people to change their religious or points of view. It's counterproductive. Most gays support gay businesses, anyway.

I wish for my email to remain private, but my comments and name are fine to include for open discussion, should you wish to. I am against gay marriage because I don't think gays should be allowed to adopt and gay marriage just opens the floodgates. Children should have a mom and a dad, but not two moms or two dads. This leaves them open to ridicule at school and God knows growing up is tough enough. Moreover, I felt uncomfortable seeing my parents in an embrace---almost embarrassed---although I realized it was a heterosexual and therefore normal relationship. Children in a "gay" household must find it totally off-putting seeing two of the same sex in an embrace, nor should they be subjected to it. And we should stop trying to say that homosexual relationships are "normal". They are not. I'm not saying we should discriminate by calling them queer or anything of the sort, nor should we throw sticks and stones. But something about that arrangement is abnormal; how could anyone argue with that? The pooper chute, for instance, was not meant for anything but feces. Just ask Mother Nature.
