Thank you, I had been wondering if oral/IV vitamin C could help while the body was going through the cytokine storm...
We are using C and will continue doing so. I was able to stave off pneumonia at one time by doing so, taking it at 10 grams every hour and the fever broke within 6 hours.

I am a scientist. I work at NIH. Very nice synopsis by maven stock. He left out how vitamin C works. It is used my macrophages to destroy (oxidant) and remove the pathogenic proteins that bind up the hemoglobin.
It also combats oxidative stress (antioxidant) from the cytokines storm. Vitamin C is both an oxidant and an antioxidant.
