For 3 months non-stop is this spewing the rumor that China was developing bio-weapons targeting non-Chinese but that they were incompetent and released the virus on themselves. So it is not ok for the Chinese to put out their own, more evidence based rumors??? For one, the Chinese government was caught off guard and was slow to contain the virus when it first surfaced (best evidence that the Chinese government did NOT create the virus). Second, the virus targets Chinese people because Chinese men have large number of ACE2 receptors (but not Caucasian men). Third, the virus had maximum effect on the Chinese economy occurring during Chinese New Year. Remember Trump and his people pulled all stops to destroy Huawei, and the Chinese economy could be another target.

Nations catch epidemics once in a decade or so. But during this last year, during the height of the trade war between China and the US, China suffered from 2 huge but mysterious avian flu epidemics that wiped out China's stock of chickens. Then immediately followed a even more massive, I mean massive, and highly virulent swine flu epidemic that wiped out 40% of China's pigs!!! Finally, the corona virus shutting down China for 3 months. These non-stop and mysterious epidemics probably led China to agree to the phase 1 trade deal and forced China to purchase huge quantities of chicken, pork and agricultural products from the US. You decide.
