Anna Von Reitz is so right: essential oils can do the trick. One of the best formulations is Thieve's Oil: Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), lemon (Citrus limon), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), Eucalyptus radiata, and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis). You can make it yourself with equal parts of these oils. Make sure the cinnamon is NOT cassia, only use cinnamonum verum, There are many recipes, but the easiest one is to use equal parts of each oil. Runs good.

Using these oils in an ultrasonic diffuser is the best way I know of to get them in your system. 3-5 drops per 100 ml water in the diffuser. Since inhaling these oils bypasses the liver, my cats have taken no harm from being around these diffusers for years.

The other excellent respiratory remedy I have used successfully for years is a 50/50 mix of colloidal silver and hydrogen peroxide in an impeller-driven humidifier, NOT an ultrasonic. This requires a large amount of colloidal silver, which you can hopefully make yourself. Watchman posted a great article on making colloidal silver awhile back. I strongly recommend reading it, or just get what is called "The Silver Puppy" CS maker. Use high quality distilled water. This 50/50 combination is great for asthma, COPD, pneumonia, colds, flu, bronchitis, etc. When feeling something starting up, I run the humidifier all night, pointed at my face, and keep it going for 3 days if needed.

Ingesting colloidal silver is great, but this combination is almost foolproof and can save lives.
