20 mins with Jordan Peterson: "Q & A: The Meaning and Reality of Individual Sovereignty"
I've always enjoyed how Miles Mathis thinks. I think he's mistaken about Peterson, however.
It appears Peterson came rather suddenly to public awareness because he took a stand against one particular aspect of political correctness at a moment ripe for someone to do it - and he did it for well-grounded reasons he was well able to articulate. Wikipedia describes it:
In 2016, Peterson released a series[12] of YouTube videos criticizing political correctness and the Canadian government's Bill C-16, "An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code". The act added "gender identity and expression" as a prohibited ground of discrimination,[a][13] which Peterson characterised as an introduction of compelled speech into law,[14][15][16] although legal experts have disagreed.
Dr. Peterson definitely has a sense of humor, but he's often asked to speak on some fairly serious topics and he does treat them seriously.
I've watched quite a few hours of Peterson speaking in classrooms and student lecture halls and in public venues. My impression is that he thinks broadly and deeply, honestly and honorably. He's mentioned somewhere that he speaks conscious of what he's saying and that he holds himself to speak truly to whatever degree that's possible. Being aware of that intention on his part, you can actually see him doing it, searching for words he can actually stand behind as being true and accurate to the best of his momentary understanding. You can see him self-editing and even making fleeting course corrections as he does.
Here's a short sample of Dr. Peterson's thinking, at a Q&A session following a longer presentation.

On May 2, 2019, in San Francisco, I spoke to the Independent Institute on "The Meaning and Reality of Individual Sovereignty" (available for viewing here: http://bit.ly/2LKeljL ). This Q & A was held later in the afternoon, allowing more audience members to participate in the discussion.
