Long ago and far away I worked at Elaine Powers Figure salon and learned a great deal about muscle structure and how our body works to gain muscle. I worked out a lot with hydraulic weight system at a gym, and then free weights until I got too sick. Weights are really good for focusing on muscle. That kind of exercise really helped me to develop a particular kind of strength. Weight bearing exercise is also supposed to reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. Maybe in a few more years I'll be able to get back to them ... :-)
