As the investigation into the origins of the Russia Collusion hoax heats up, along with the highly anticipated DOJ Inspector General's report into whether Obama-era intelligence community officials committed fraud upon the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), set for release, it appears the former heads of two of America's intelligence agencies are becoming quite nervous.

Public statements made by former CIA Director, John Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, indicate that as the "Investigation into the investigators" moves forward, both are quite "concerned" about what is going to be exposed.

Top that off with the timely free public release of "FBI Lovebirds | How Two FBI Operatives Tried To Take Down Donald Trump," where actors Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson read all of the text exchanges between former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who played key roles in both the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the initiation of the investigation into President Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia interference, and his alleged mistress FBI special counsel Lisa Page, and we get a birdseye view of the incompetence and corruption that ran rampant through U.S. Intelligence agencies under Obama.

CLAPPER AND BRENNAN IN THE SPOTLIGHT

News broke when former CIA Director John Brennan announced on MSNBC, where he is now an anti-Trump paid contributor, that he was "concerned" that he is "supposedly" going to be questioned U.S. Attorney John Durham, as part of the William Barr/Durham investigation into the actions of high level former Intelligence community members during the 2016 election cycle.

"Given that Barr is now accompanying Durham on these things, it really makes me think that the hand of politics and of Trump are now being used to massage what this ongoing review quasi-investigation is. So I am concerned," Brennan said on MSNBC's "Deadline" with former Bush press secretary Nicole Wallace.

"I am still very puzzled and troubled by Donald Trump's actions vis-a-vis Russia. It is something that makes me wonder, what is at the root of some of his actions and decisions?" Brennan stated.

While recently Brennan has displayed a defensive and belligerent attitude regarding the investigation, back in March he claimed that he relied on "bad information" and that he may have been misled about the extent of President Trump's connections to Russia.

Former head of the CIA John Brennan admitted on Monday that he may have relied on “bad information” for his relentless attacks on President Trump.

Brennan — who once warned that “our Nation’s future is at stake” — told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he may have been misled on the extent of Trump’s connections to Russia.

“Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was,” Brennan said. “I am relieved that it’s been determined there was not a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government over our election.”

What a difference a few months and an open investigation into Brennan's actions, as well as other top members of the Intel community, can make on a person's public statements.

As for James Clapper, he recently went on CNN, where he is a paid contributor now, and basically spilled what his defense is going to be for his actions as DNI under Obama, which is "We just did what our Commander in Chief told us to do."

Sounds a little nervous, doesn't he? Also he appears to be making sure that the finger points at Obama for starting the entire thing.

It is worth mentioning that the report in question was the January 2017 DNI report, issued by Clapper, titled "Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections."

In that report, despite Clapper saying above that they compiled information from "all the reporting that we could, that we had available," only three agencies intelligence was considered and documented in that 2017 report which claimed they had a high level of confidence that Russia interfered in order to help Trump win the election.

Those agencies were the FBI, led by former Director James Comey, who has been found to have violated FBI policies and guidelines, the CIA, and the NSA. Only those three agencies provided their assessments and analysis, while Clapper's office issued the final report.

Interesting that Comey, Clapper and Brennan are also having their actions reviewed as part of the Barr/Durham investigation.

That bit of information is relevant because Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham is questioning whether these former intel agency heads used the unverified and "salacious" Steele Dossier for that intelligence assessment report, ordered by Obama.

"The dossier -- if you believe that foreign interference is wrong in our elections, then you should be upset by the fact that the Democratic National Committee hired a former British spy to investigate Trump by getting dirt on him from Russia. The Steele dossier is a bunch of political garbage, unverified to this day. Why was it included in the intel assessment? Did Brennan have anything to do with that? Because it is salacious garbage," Graham said. "So we're going to find out about all of this, and Barr should be going to Italy and the U.K. and Australia, trying to find out if their intelligence services were working with the CIA or the FBI to investigate the Trump campaign."

By the time all the reports and investigations are concluded, it is likely that we see the 2017 DNI report may have been used by the Intel heads as part of the entire "insurance policy," as former FBI agent Peter Strzok, which was in reference to the Russia investigation into collusion.

'FBI LOVEBIRDS' PUBLICLY RELEASED

Another great example of the anti-Trump sentiment, and the corruptness that was prevalent through intelligence agencies, were the Peter Strzok, Lisa Page texts messages. The DOJ Inspector General first became aware of them while both Strzok and Page were part of the special counsel investigation into Russia collusion. After notifying Robert Mueller of the thousands of pages of texts between the two, Strzok was kicked off the special counsel team.

The texts were released publicly, but were hundreds pages, and not many took the time to read through all of them. The discussion about Trump supporters, candidates, as well as disdain for American voters, along with some colorful commentary about world leaders and other countries, were indicative of extreme political bias, specifically against President Trump.

Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson, both conservative actors in Hollywood, offered a stellar performance in a stage production titled "FBI Lovebirds | How Two FBI Operatives Tried To Take Down Donald Trump," where the two read aloud the Strzok and Page texts, including references to the "emojis" describing them as "winky face," etc. They also made clear when the two would use exclamation points or questions marks by reading the text in question then stating "exclamation point, question mark, exclamation, exclamation, question mark."

The performance by both shows they did their homework, with Cain doing an excellent job with the facial expressions and movement of his shoulders, perfectly mimicking Strzok when the public watched his weird and bizarre performance in front of congress, a sample of which is shown in the image above. Swanson also did a spectacular job is expressing the smug arrogance of Page's texts.

While the performance is good, entertaining, and at times laugh out loud funny, the fact that these two were members of the FBI, acting like children, bad-mouthing American voters, talking about how people at Walmart "smell," insulting other countries and world leaders, as well as American politicians, offers a glimpse into the type of people that were playing key roles in ending the Hillary Clinton investigation and instigating the start of the investigation into Donald Trump.

BOTTOM LINE

The corruption that ran rampant through multiple intelligence agencies, at the highest of levels, is being investigated, as well as the possible FISA abuses, and we are seeing the key players, Clapper and Brennan acting very nervous, defensive and/or belligerent, as they wait for the hammer to drop.

While they may not know exactly what is in the IG report, nor how much Barr and Durham already know, before they are scheduled to be questioned, the nature of the investigations mean they have some idea of what is coming, which may explain why they are trying to play victim on MSNBC and CNN.

The level of nervousness being displayed is indicative that the IG, Barr and Durham are all over the target.
