Thanks for the link to an interesting article. I'm not sure I quite understand it yet and will have to study further.

The main topic is something called "BitClubNetwork" which seems to be some kind of Bitcoin "mining pool" started by a couple guys and their website is here:

Before I go further let me give you two further links I have found very useful for checking on the current Bitcoin values and watching the market activity. They are both on a site called " bitcoincharts.com ".

1. Bitcoin Markets
This one is very cool because it updates in real time. First click the currency you want to see (e.g. USD for US dollar). Each line in the chart is a particular Bitcoin "exchange" and each time there is a transaction on that exchange the line will flash yellow. Watch for a while and you will see which are most active. You can also compare prices.

2. Bitcoin Charts
This page lets you pick an "exchange" and see the (price) activity over time. You can customize the view at the top. Pick the exchange with the upper left dropdown list, e.g. "bitstampUSD" (note: not all exchanges will actually have data, for some reason).

These pages are good to bookmark for checking the daily fluctuations of Bitcoin prices
