Clearly, if the elite can scurry away to places like this, they could launch a zombie apocalypse and live in luxury while the world goes to hell. Martha's Vineyard and nearby Nantucket are both totally elite held areas that would serve literally as open air survival shelters, so open and spacious the elite could multiply rapidly for several generations before returning to the mainland, and they could do it all in luxury. Take a look at the stats I posted, it is all very clear.

Obama's mansion purchase on Martha's Vineyard says a LOT.

First of all, the obvious: It is not significantly above sea level. The 29 acre property sits right on the beach, and there's no significant elevation difference between the mansion and the ocean. There are very few pictures of it, and the one that is getting posted the most is a drawing that falsely implies the house is about 50 feet above sea level. I managed to find a single photo that shows reality with this - it is in fact no more than 10 feet above sea level. Why does this matter?

Easy answer: It proves the Obamas don't believe in sea level rise or climate change, and that it is all just politics. The reality of this location is that the correct hurricane could get water to the mansion via storm surge alone. It is not likely, but it could happen. There is positively zero allowance for sea level rise there. There is a seawall a half mile out in the ocean to break big waves and that's all, it can be sailed out of and won't stop a rising ocean.

The second thing that is obvious with this is that there's no conceivable way the Obamas could have ever afforded such a place. On top of having 27 acres, the cost of the place is more than double the average for Massachusetts, which is an expensive state to begin with. Martha's vineyard is where the elite hang out. A president's salary won't pay for it. Given the Obama's history, where did they get the money? Perhaps they consulted with Nancy Pelosi.

The third thing I noticed about Martha's Vineyard and it's nearby cousin, Nantucket, is that they are both significantly separated from land, and would not get invaded during a civil war. They are safe havens safely off shore where the elite can scurry to when tshtf. I looked over Martha's Vineyard quite closely, and the only thing they'd have to sacrifice during a bug out would be some types of high end meat, which are not made on the island. The island does however have enough agriculture to keep everyone fed nicely during a lock down, including hamburgers and prime rib. The actual population on the island allows for approximately 100 people per square mile, which amounts to 6.5 acres per person and all of it is prime agricultural land. There's not a chance they'd ever be seiged and starved out.

Additionally, there are a total of about 5,500 households on the island, and only 1,700 of them have any children. Population per household is only 3, and they are predominantly mansions. Martha's Vineyard is an elite hide out, and nearby Nantucket is also.
