Here are a few approaches to dealing with this debilitating condition which I can suggest. Don't wait for so-called medical experts to carry out their research, as their results could be a very long time coming, and would most likely not be conclusive, anyway. It is already possible to treat this condition successfully, in a variety of ways.

One of these ways is homeopathy. This was my living for many years, and I can state from personal experience that this condition can be cured. So a visit to a homeopath is one option.

Modest exercise, within the constraints of whatever is possible in one's personal circumstances, can be most beneficial. I've found qigong to be wonderful. Some of the exercises are a bit energetic, but many of them are quite slow and easy. Here are four videos, which may be helpful.

The last of these videos is not necessarily only for people with respiratory ailments. The exercises improve the breathing, and both steady and energize the mind and body.

Cayenne pepper is wonderful for giving mental and physical energy and stamina. It's best to start with a fairly modest heat strength, perhaps 40,000 S.H.U. (Scoville Heat Units), and build up from there. Start with a low dose, and increase very gradually. Do not use a cayenne pepper product which fails to give the S.H.U. rating, as you won't know exactly what you're taking. It seems that cayenne often works better if it's taken in powder form, rather than capsules, as it starts to have an effect as soon as it touches the mouth. For the higher heat strengths, it's necessary to be a bit creative, in order to be able to take the cayenne in this way without burning the mouth. You can dissolve the powder in a small quantity of chilled fruit juice, and then put some solid food into the mouth immediately after swallowing the juice, in order to take the edge off the heat.
