I am continually amazed at the gullibility of my fellow Americans. I lived in Latin America for 14 years. Every year there was a two month period when the sky was darkened by the smoke from the nearby rain forests being burned. This was caused by the two-thousand year old practice of Slash-and Burn as practiced by the indigenous peoples of the jungle.

The native jungle soil was too weak to support growing crops for many years. Therefore it was necessary to burn new swaths of jungle where new crops could be planted. Since the older abandoned cropland quickly reverted to new jungle, little overall damage was done.

Now it appears the the Globalists have seized on this annual practice to beat us up some more about climate change and destruction of the planet. We are being duped! Which brings up the entire question of climate change. Are we being duped about this as well?
