In the larger picture there is a growing trend towards this type of legislative behavior evidenced in the article posted by Elefteria.

This legislative trend is being positively reinforced by the Epstein clown act. The sum is that a hidden power, which we have not seen and cannot see, is insinuating to a large part of the population that they can have their dark sexual fantasies, even with children, and there will be no consequences.

This is an all powerful motivating force for that portion of the population which is driven by secretive desire. That portion is larger than one might imagine as many apparently decent people do not exhibit harbor of dark desire by restraint of consequence.

The deal being insinuated by power is if you let us live our pleasure, we will share that pleasure with you. We will give a few of no real importance for the alter of the indignant while you secure our, and thus your pleasure by corrupted legislature. Once laws of lenient nature are passed law enforcement at all levels will enforce them. There is...incentive.
