In the article, it states women are the disposable ones in India and China. Why? Economics. Chicks are an economic liability in countries where the chick has to pay the dowery, and in the past; women in China always moved in with the family of the male she married, so why invest in something that's destined to leave you high and dry?

In China, this may be changing according to Winston Sterzel, the South African expatriate who now lives in China with a really hot wife.

Now males seem to have woken up to the fact that a high earner wife might be a more pragmatic partner than a breeder cow/household slave.

I've watched many of Winston's (Serpentza's) videos, and according to him; Chinese society is evolving in a good way. The gubment is another story.
