I hear what you are saying but women didn't have that right, until recently, either. Besides, we are not talking about the devils in D.C... We are talking about ordinary white people who have a right to have pride in their heritage. They too were slaves, They were America's first slaves. Upwards of a million of them stolen from Ireland-Scotland and Wales. White people fought wars/along with blacks to end slavery. Less then 3% of Americans had slaves. That is a historical fact that is ruthlessly pushed under the rug by agenda seeking *&^%^%'s in D.C. Every race and ethnic group has had slavery in it's past but 'here' whites are the ones who ended it.

Why not Wet TV? Or Miss White America? Ivory Magazine? NAAWP? etc. While I think these titles sound racist they are nothing more then what other races have.

What we are talking about is legitimate Pride in White culture inventions or advancements. Such as:

that computer you're typing on
- the software that drives it
- the internet & nearly all web applications
- recorded music (not music in general-that is born in your soul)
- motion pictures
- tv

- radio
- camera
- telephone
- light bulb
- the automobile
- rocketry
- satellites
- spacecraft
- airplanes
- telescope
- printing press
- eyeglasses
- contact lenses
- materials science (plastics, compounds, & most other synthetics)
- 95% of medical advancements
- antibiotics
- a huge amount of scientific breakthroughs over the past 1000 years
- A large share of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology
- astronomy (most modern discoveries and mapping techniques)
- sea navigation (most modern advancements)
- discovery of DNA
- microscope
- laser technology and it's myriad of uses
- harnessing electricity
- nuclear technology
- wireless technology
- air conditioning devices
- refrigeration
- engines
- modern agricultural techniques
- lights

Whites have been and are being taught to be ashamed of being white. They have no reason to be ashamed. There is good and bad in every culture.

PS My mother's family were dirt poor, cotton picking share croppers who lived in a one room rented shanty, in the 30's and 40's in the south. She was also white.

I have an observation, for those who wish to ponder it. People say how great this country is and of the freedoms people have. The simple fact that I, as a blackman, living in the US,does not have the PERMANENT right to vote speaks volumes. LBJ and Bush Jr had to sign the voting act right. Do they sign this for other races of people in the US? The answer is no. There are many little hidden things of inequality that black people have put up with over the years. Some say love it, or leave it. Too bad the native americans didn't tell the first Europeans that. Society should live up to all the " high flutin" words that it is aledgedly founded upon.

This is why many have become disenfranchised with the so-called justice system of this country. Was Malcolm X wrong for saying," That's your problem, too much singing. It,s time to stop singing and start swinging". I advocate swinging by voicing what is right holding these people and their unjust and unfair laws to the fire and exposing the wrong they do. I am not finger pointing at you RM. Thank you for your time.The bill has to be signed every 25 years, or blacks cannot vote.

If you're white then you know of white's contributions to society. If you're black, be proud and admit it, also know the world works tit-for tat. If you want to blame GOOD whites for the work of a few evil ones then should we blame good Blacks (or Latinos or Asians etc) for the work of a few evil blacks?

White history is any history where the majority of white people could or did make a difference.
Bankers are white by majority.
Attorneys and judges are white by majority.
CEO's of corporations are white by majority.

We can look at what the white generals did in any war.
The white business owner has done for business or to the people like Facebook, AIG, Bank of America.
White people passed the Patriot Act, and when the president says he'll veto a bill, the majority white Congress can't overcome with veto.
Majority white Supreme Court rulings are real history changers.

Yes, a white history month will give more information about our history beyond the past 8 years.

There's lots to tell.
