This article includes a justification of trampling Liberty, to wit, "positive rights are granted by the government and involve the trampling of an individual or another class of individuals’ rights. These kinds of rights – like state-funded healthcare or public education – are justified on abstract grounds, such as the “public good” or the “general will.” By their very nature, they require the state to take from one group in order to give to another, usually in the form of taxes."

This is in conflict with the Philosophy of Liberty (ref. Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7qGT7yN5GA&t=2s or schoolland.net) which states it is not moral to ask the state to do something which it would otherwise be immoral for you to do personally.

The problem identified here is, if you accept the idea that a majority can extract the wealth of any minority they choose to exploit, the majority is empowered to loot the minority. We are witness to this occurring the past 50 years on an escalating (ponzi-like) scale, pretty much enabling the State to consume itself as a snake eating its tail. This "justified" loophole was the camel nose under the tent, where now the camel is under the tent, standing up, eating anything edible, and stinking things up.

We need a LOT more dicussion now about Liberty and an understanding that there is a whole lot of misinformation (like "positive rights") that was never in the discussion of how to formulate a Constitution, the purpose of which is securing Liberty.

It is tiresome for anyone who understands this (I CHALLENGE anyone to say what I have written here is inaccurate or untrue) to see post after post complaining about Socialism (which is no more than empowering the majority to loot the minority) but no mention of Liberty, which is the opposite. It makes me suspect that the dialogue is being controlled far more than on Facebook and Twitter and Google and YouTube.

I challenge anyone reading this post, who wants to reform and cure this nation of its many ills, to Stand Up For Liberty.
