WHO OWNS WASHINGTON POST
In 2013, the Washington Post was purchased by Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon. That same year, Amazon also obtained a CIA contract worth $600 million. At the time, the Nation pointed out the conflict of interest that these dealings posed. That’s at least twice what Bezos paid for the Post this year. Bezos disclosed that the company’s Web-services business is building a ‘private cloud’ for the CIA to use for its data needs.”

TRUMP/BEZOS FEUD
November 2016: The battle started last December with a series of seemingly unprompted tweets from Trump. “The Washington Post, which loses a fortune, is owned by Jeff Bezos for purposes of keeping taxes down at his no-profit company, Amazon,” Trump wrote. “If Amazon ever had to pay fair taxes, its stock would crash and it would crumble like a paper bag. The Washington Post scam is saving it!”

BEZOS MOVES TO D.C.
January 15, 2017: Jeffrey P. Bezos, Amazon’s founder and owner of The Washington Post, moves into the same D.C. neighborhood of Ivanka Trump and Barack Obama paying $23 million in cash for a 10-bedroom mansion on S Street NW.
