One is free to choose, but, whether the choice made is based on reason or not, it is not free from result. Life appears to me as a continuing chain of choices, each resultant next pair-set as a product of the previous one made. To choose suicide would surrender the ability to make the next choice yours. Never stop questioning.
With that said, here's a high quality question:
What color is an apple?

Answer: False
Not truly red, green or yellow.
The beauty in one is not the speed that light reflected from it vibrates at. Look past the skin, deep enough to contemplate the seed within, the tiny messenger containing information held for the future and the ability to recreate not just itself, but an entire tree full with its kind.
I doubt that this intelligence ever contemplates self-destruction. But what do I know? I'm not an apple. DC 8)
