Re: Video: Greg Hunter - Dave Janda: The Crap ....
Salutations Lion,
Thanks for posting the video, there are many of your posts that I read on a regular basis and I thank you for your dedication to do so.
In general it is rare that I disagree with Janda.
Greg Hunter is always insightful, does his homework to support his views and is not the bombastic personality that so many of the "right" personalities seem to embody ala Limbaugh, Hannity, Jones etal.
The louder the voice, the greater the dedication to personal promotion.
The primary point that I disagree with Janda on is that Section 224 of the bill that was passed in regard to allowing unaccompanied minors to be imported is a sellout.
Taken at face value it is unconscionable.
But as Greg Hunter pointed out multiple times, this is a temporary bill.
Six months until September.
Taken in the context of exposing the extent of human trafficking it is brilliant.
What better way to have the traffickers expose themselves but by having them voluntarily agree to leave a paper trail of their importation of minors?
Tracking those minors imported with diligent follow up exposes the multi-headed hydra of the low level operators who would otherwise be almost impossible to track.
At the same time, it would allow those law abiding, tax paying through payrolls; though illegal, people who honestly work and form the backbone of an immigrant community who I highly respect to be able to form the nuclear family in a safe environment that is the want of all people who love their families.
Citizenship should not be the goal for these illegal families unless they choose to follow that route.
I have no problem with temporary labor work visas, just do so legally.
Growing up in Northern Ohio there were migrant workers every year. They came in the summer through fall and left in winter.
That's how I learned to speak Spanish.
There was no animosity, it was legal and though some looked down upon the migrants, any who worked with them respected them, and the churches welcomed them.
I recently read an article in the local paper of a Blast from the Past column where the mayor of a nearby town was welcoming the migrants for the year, for there weren't enough locals to possibly harvest the amount of vegetables grown in the area.
Many of those families eventually became citizens, settled in the area and are respected members of the community.
I have digressed from the initial focus of my reply but to me these are the things that are important about the debate of immigration.
The illegals I know from the construction and restaurant businesses I work in don't really want to live here.
They want the wages and want to be able to come and go without being in fear all the damn time.
We can do that. We can make the laws that work.
Personally, I would love to go down to the beach in Cabo and cook all winter for las touristas.
They love to see a fellow gringo in the kitchen, gives them a sense of security.
I have no desire to do that anymore, too much bullshit paperwork.
What really sucks is that my body really, really, loved the influx of seafood.
Gave me all my minerals for the year.
So then in summary. The net is cast, the border is being secured, and the coyotes are being identified.
The onslaught against the cartels are next.
This is the crux of the border matter.
Offensive maneuvers and incursions within specified boundaries along the border will be widespread, sweeping and swift.
The Apache helicopter will lead the charge.
There will be devastation upon the forces of evil such that it will not surface again.
Apache are a people never conquered nor assimilated.
Cochise.
Canyon and the tower lives.
Is it a coincidence that those who jump yell Geronimo?
A reckoning from the mists of time is theirs to have.
Let it be.
Love always to you and yours.
