Yesterday afternoon I had a dream about Hussy. In the story Clive talked to Phil about making hussy drive through deep water. In my dream, hussy was a big old Ford but way older with a big ass camper on the bed. I was driving it down a road and felt it swaying around on the road cuz it was seriously heavy. I was doing some work on it ( I think ) and then I needed to put some fuel in it and I put gasoline in it... doh ! After I did that I realized that it was a diesel but it didn't seem to care. I was then driving it near a lake. I saw a bunch of water fowl on the lake ( actually more like a large pond ) people were gathered around it swimming and lounging. As I drove up to it I remembered that Clive had out fitted it for deep water and so I drove the thing into the water. It sank like a rock to the bottom and I thought oh crap ! It was a lot deeper than I expected. Big Mistake ... weird thing was my POV was still above the water even though I knew the truck had sank. I remained above the water and climbed out the other side of the pond and could feel how sandy/muddy the bottom was as I crawled out and thought ... there is no waaay that the winch that Ken welded to the bumper would pull the truck out of this bog.
It was a great dream, lots of vivid imagery. I really gotta stop reading this series ... but I seem to be hooked on it as now I am having dreams about it.
Well off to read part 33.

Had a good night at the club doing sound for a group of young and up coming lads. Oldest was maybe 20, 21 and the show started out as a train wreck but by the middle of the set we has it worked out. They finished off with a rousing rendition of Sultans of Swing by well you know who. Keyboard player was very very good. Drummer needed to eat more food, Bass player needs to learn the songs better, lots of sour notes but overall they have potential. So by the end of the set I gave them a kickass sound which I hope will give them a taste of what's to come.
Second band was much older guys and fairly good on most songs but the singer was off on many notes ... otherwise not too bad for a bunch of old fogies.
