About twenty-seven hundred years ago an event occurred which left every nation on earth scrambling to re-establish a valid and workable calendar. That event was called the, 'Day of the Lord,' when Mars passed (in orbit) between the Earth and the Moon. In a very short time the Earth was perturbed sufficiently to extend a precise three- hundred sixty day year, which had been in effect for thousands of years, to approximately three hundred sixty five days.

The three hundred sixty day year was so reliable that non-adjustable megalithic stone structures were built on that precision to mark solar and celestial events.

The damage caused by altering the year is commonly taken to be in the area of agriculture. But a farmer could stand a stick in the ground and mark days with rocks and get back to valid agricultural timing very easily within one year or so.

Closer inspection would place the real damage in contracts. All contracts are founded on time in one way or another. When time is arbitrarily changed without notice contracts must renegotiated or become null and void. When the new year is not a precise number of days contracts must be continuously modified until common definition of time is agreed upon.

Whereas there was an event which left every nation on earth scrambling to re-establish a valid and workable calendar it might be presumed that this event was an act of aggression or sabotage.

A longer year indicates a slightly larger diameter orbit, possibly a million miles or so.

Some questions arise.

Who might be prepared to contractually capitalize on sudden, unanticipated changes to the standard year?

Do the aggressors own present time as spoils of war in some way, and if so what is the legal definition of time and who controls that definition?

If Earth were undocked from a lawful orbit might it be considered derelict and subject to solar sea salvage law?

If the undocking could be proved to be due to criminal action could the vessel be recovered to rightful ownership?

If the vessel is now possessed under salvage law do the owners own right to time as well, and if so what is the legal definition of time and who controls that definition?

Do they issue present time as debt instruments or currency in lieu of lawful debt free time?

If so is this present time debt backed by anything or is it fiat?

Would this debt incur interest?

What would be denominations of present time?

Are we signers for that debt in any way, and if so are lives valued in terms of time?

Is this debt traded on any markets, public or private?

These are some of the questions that come to mind.
