Greetings All - and thanks, NDC, for that very interesting post. But I've got to ask - any mention of "Home"?

Baby, pregnant, mommy correlate pretty well, and maybe rebirth too - but last night I dreamt about "Home".

I recall my dreams very rarely, but this one stuck.

I was at a gala with my husband - and we are NOT gala people. I don't think we've ever been to any event I would consider a gala. However, in my dream, everyone was in there best finery, and the environment was alive with excitement. A group of us were just gathering to go "home" - and we were ecstatic about it! It was a joyous thing to be going home.

Our group - a big group, 20 or more, I'd say - were descending an opulent staircase, but kind of a strange staircase - in that it had velvet rope dividers, like you see in banks, that made a pathway on the stairway and those people outside the ropes were just standing on the stairs, and those people within the ropes were descending the stairs.

We were passing those people standing outside the ropes as we descended the stairs - and then I saw an old friend that I haven't spoken to in years standing outside the ropes, and she was gently weeping. I stopped and asked her why she was crying, and she said that she was ready to go home, too. So, I lifted the velvet rope and she joined us, joyously.

That's it. I woke up at that point.

It was a wonderful dream, and the first dream for which I have any recollection in several months - and this dream was far clearer and easier to recall than the vast majority of my dreams. I've been pondering it all day, so when I saw the DreamBot post, I had to look - but alas, it doesn't mention "home".
