Much of the MMJ is grown in the forests of Mendocino, Humboldt, and Trinity Counties (the Emerald Triangle) by illegals dropped off in the forest with nasty poisons, beans and tortillas. Waiting to be picked up at the end of the season. They grow thousands of plants at a time and are hated by the locals.

I wonder how many have made it out of the fires...no real way to know.

The rules, regs, fees, fines, penalties, and new construction
needed to comply with licenses is absurd...and requires lawyers that can not even keep up with the ever changing laws that involve about 8 to 12 different agencies that all want to be dealt with first. State, County, and local rules conflict.

The only time we ever see a gov rep. is when they want to figure out a way to get more fines & fees.

This is the part of Ca. that wanted to be the State of Jefferson,
however the current split would leave us with Sacramento & Jerry Brown....not what we wanted.

The ex loggers also grow since they can no longer log.
Until legalization most folks grew enough for themselves & friends plus enough to meet there bills and supplies for the following year. Much like any farmers. Except for hiding from the law! These folks are against putting poisons on a product they consume!
Larger growers could also get a new truck and a winter in Hawaii or Mexico for their work.

Locals are about 60% for and 40% against growers. Stores & businesses are now finding out how much of their profits came from MMJ, there is a recession here now. President Trumps policies are not reaching rural Ca.

Many decided not to grow due to fear of Jeff Sessions threats.

IMHO MMJ is a medical miracle and should be grown and treated a such.
