Latest wildfire map on the Carr Fire in Redding, California shows the fire going between 2 large important lakes.

The first lake to the left is Lewiston Lake and the 2nd lake to the right is the Shasta Dam Lake, which brings most of the water to the Central California and Southern Calif.

In connecting the dots of these wildfires, I see a correlation with the drought in California and a lessening of their water supply.
