The media have downplayed the Y2K glitch at Oak Ridge, TN. and stated that it is not of a serious nature and people are not at risk. This is a patently false statement. The Y2K glitch is in the computer that tracks the inventory and location of all weapons grade nuclear material. Purportedly there is no way to identify whether weapons grade material has been improperly removed from inventory...It has been revealed in recent years that a large underground secret base is beneath Oak Ridge,as is another in Kingsport,TN. The underground base in Kingsport is beneath the Old Holston Defense Plant ( now operated by British Royale Aero Space) a manufacturer of military munitions. The possibility of a third underground base located under Erwin , TN.'s Raytheon plant has been indicated through reports of local spelunkers. The Raytheon plant also produces weapons for the miltary. There is a distinct possibility that all three of these underground bases are connected by way of Tennessee's extensive underground caverns. If this is so, then material can be shipped from Oak Ridge to Military contractors and never see the light of day, nor even be missed from inventory ( Oak Ridge has a very bad record for proper inventory control in the past ). For the first time in over 50 years, Holston Defense is operated by a non-American contractor. British Royale Aero Space is one of the largest and most diversified weapons manufacturer in the world. This situation betrays the claim of the Oak Ridge Y2K glitch as not endangering people. Indeed it would seem that far more people may be at risk by what is going on beneath their feet.
