I'm not sure but I can see reasoning for both; provided we believe in unlimited, separate realities where time and distance do not exist as they do here.

Now its possible that the key to this is a misinterpretation of the word "faith". All my life I've heard the expression...You got to have faith....but I can't say it worked because I didn't know how to use it. But in greek, faith is "pestis", a verb!! It means to convince yourself. So I can't "have" faith at all.....I have to "do it."

I'm not gonna quote scripture but there are two stories (Grain of a mustard seed) and (Peter walking on water with Jesus) that boil down to this: If you believe (faith), you will move mountains and do great things, and why do you doubt?

I think we are a far way from understanding our God-given capabilities. I don't know if its a lost art, or something the church covered up to keep us in control. Seems to me, that if God is within us all, we ought to be able to consciously give control of the body to that God within and travel through space and time and demensions the same as He does....by thinking himself there.

In a story called the dreamer and the dream, Carlos Casteneda implied that the dream was just as "real" as the dreamer, and that we could choose which one to wake up in. The bible says all things are possible if we convice ourselves (have faith).

All that said, I still can't walk on water.
