I have read that Aspartame affects the areas of the brain used for memory storage and critical thinking. They would want to wipe out the critical thinking parts, so that we would be the little sheep they want us to be. If we cannot think, we cannot question.
As for the memory, my in-laws are a good case in point. They are both diabetics and consume a large quantity of it. My father-in-law used to have a sharp memory. He could tell you what brand of corn he planted in a strip of a field 6 years ago. Now, he can't remember that he just called my husband to tell him what needs done for the day. He can't recall certain words, such as he uses wheelchair for door. It is sad. This is so harmful, and the American Diabetes Association pushes Nutra-Sweet. Of course, they also get a big donation from it's maker. It all comes down to money.
