Question: WHY WASNT' THE VERY ILL DOCTOR TAKEN OUT AT THE SAME TIME? WHY DID HE HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO DAYS FOR A SEPARATE PLANE. AND IF IT IS SO DANGEROUS TO FLY IN AN OUT, WHY DID THE TWIN OTTERS HAVE TO THEN GO LATER?
Yes, one would surmise there is something VERY odd going on here; VERY ODD INDEED!

Two Hospitalized From McMurdo

On Monday, a Royal New Zealand Air Force C-130 plane airlifted 11 Americans from McMurdo Station, on the other side of Antarctica.

Two were brought out for emergency medical reasons, according to Raytheon Polar Services. They are under observation at a hospital in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The National Science Foundation said the rest were non-emergency evacuees and could have stayed through the Antarctic winter if no plane had come.

In October 1999, Dr. Jerri Neilsen — also a doctor at the South Pole — was airlifted out of Antarctica after she discovered a tumor in her breast.
