I have noticed that the two most successful posted messages to the forum in terms of 'views' involved ancient prophecy. One mentioned Nostradamus in its title line and received over 2000 hits, and the second included Mayan Prophesy and scored well over 1000 visits. This intrigued me and it inspired me to write this message.

For any post to score so many hits it seem likely that a high percentage of those who visit the site must have clicked these two messages, especially the Nostradamus post. I do not know what they made of its contents and whether it provided them with answers they hoped to find, but that aside, why did so many people view that particular post?

Many visitors to Rumills are expecting some catastrophic event to take place soon. Our readers place little trust our normal media so they look for other sources of information. Because they are interested in esoteric sources for their information is in itself an interesting fact, which is no doubt noted and registered by our political masters who will view here, as do many others. This can lead to them designing convoluted mumbo-jumbo for our consumption and it serves as a warning to us all. The reader beware, as no doubt most people will be who visit here. I am not suggesting for one moment that either of the posts I have mentioned here is spurious!

My feelings and information echo many correspondents convictions of end times to come soon based in part on the state of this planet in its broadest sense. When I pose this question to acquaintances, " Would you like to come back here by reincarnation based on how things are now and what you judge to be our future", almost all say no. If I ask you the same question, how would you respond?

Many who read this would probably condemn me as a harbinger of doom, looking for every chance to depress others? I do not have that intent, but I do hope to challenge your intellect and invite readers to think things over. Sure, there are beautiful and worthwhile things here to take comfort from and rejoice in, but relentless annoyances build up daily, and decay in human attitudes continues to slide down hill. Disease ads further problems for us to face.

When it is my time to return to spirit, I will not fear it but welcome it. In the meantime, I will watch, and live day to day warm in the knowledge that no prophesy will bind the True Spirit of Light to any timetable set by men in the past, no matter how well informed they where, or if they were his messengers in human form working in His service. We cannot presume to know his timing just his final result, which all those evil being who work against him fear. I wonder what official monitors of this message board will make of this information? For now, they will probably smile…. Later?

You will note that I did not mention Nostradamus Or Mayan culture in my post line!
