I read "The Coming Revolution" a while ago. Like most mind-blowers, it did its job.

But it occurs to me that for two opposing factions to have the same modus operandi is not likely.

Faction 1 and Faction 2 both having as their aim the culling of certain sectors of the populace? Not likely. It seems more likely that one conscious entity dreamed up both Faction 1 and Faction 2. If these were real groups, separate groups, I would think that they would have different methods and aims. Faction 1 and Faction 2 seem too perfectly yin/yang, too much carbon-copy opposites of each other.

I think it is possible that the conflict of Faction 1 versus Faction 2 is a mythology designed to divide and conquer. This would be the same divide and conquer tactic that has been used at least since the 60's to divide people along the lines of "left wing" versus "right wing". Faction 1 is arguably the "left wing" faction, and Faction 2 is the "right wing" faction.

Population-control mythologies like these keep the people squabbling amongst themselves, focusing on negatives, so they don't have time to free themselves, join forces, and do something positive. While the people are distracted, the mythology makers are able to snatch up the big bucks and centralize their power.

People actually beg (or at least silently allow) the politicians to centralize more and more power in the federal government, and take away more and more freedoms of the people, in order to guarantee protection from the "other" faction. So traditionally, Republicans beg for more law enforcement--more police--and Democrats beg for more bureaucratic enforcement of their social ideology. With alternating administrations, then, what we wind up with is both more police AND more bureacracy. In other words, a creeping totalitarianism.

And this is exactly the goal of the people who are really in control. Call it what you will, the goal of these people, who are neither "Republicans" nor "Democrats": a fascist society, a totalitarian society, a globalist society, a police state, a corporate state, a slave state.

We're screwed unless we throw them ALL out in 2000. No Democrats! No Republicans! No internationalists! No George Bush! No Al Gore! No John McCain! No Trent Lott! Just say No! Go, Pat, Go! (I had to add that last part.)
