Thank you for retiring Newshound. This may sound quaint but her posts held a disquieting note for me. I don't know if you ever noticed the timing of her posts. It seemed as if she sat at her computer for hours, waiting to answer other entries in a remarkably short time after they appeared on the Forum. Maybe that was her "professional" job.

I am not a "visionary", therefore cannot see into the future; nevertheless, my sense about the attacks on you and RMN is that they will not succeed in the long run.

Kudos to Esclarmonde for being frank with Newshound.

For some time now I have been curious about Esclarmonde's nom de plume. Did she choose the name in a spirit of humor, tongue in cheek? Or is she signaling a personal connection to Esclarmonde de Foix who was an ordained Perfect in the Cathar heirarchy?

According to one source, Esclarmonde, a pugnacious and vociferous opponent of the Church, founded a Cathar convent for women at Montsegar, site of the Church of Rome's last pitched battle in the holocaust against the Cathars.

Anouther source says she sponsored the fortification of Montsegar, that she was Guardian of the Graal--some say the Shroud.

Last comment: the symbol at the top of the front page of RMN looks like the symbol for yin/yang, light/darkness, the ida and pingala (sp)---Polarity. Is this what you are in part refering to?
