Uh, tena, Bond rather clearly said "it ain't about a religion", and especially not about any of the "Christian divided religions" that pull in opposing directions about the unified message of one unified man.

He's saying the point is more that each human being has the opportunity of "direct connection" to the reality back of the word God, without need for a priest or other intermediary to "place the call" for him or for her -- which, in different words, is also what Esclarmonde has been saying.

Interesting that you'd head this "Utopia means nowhere" - the word nowhere is also the construct "now here", and maybe that's the point - God seems to be nowhere relative to human experience but "in the twinkling of an eye" can be experienced as now here in human experience. Kind of a neat trick, that - but then, God is the Supreme Being, after all; he's not completely dim... :)
