tonight, the minister of economy Lopez Murphy announced a large plan to cut government spendings in about +2 billons of dolars, with a clear "financial" view, rather than a "production-oriented" one. they are planning also to left in the streets to 30% of the government employees. This is the third mayor adjust of the government expenses.
we are in recession from some years, and this year the updated internal product is projected to be minus-zero...
After that, half of the cabinet renounced, the mayor party-alliance has been broken, and dark months come ahead.
Students took mayor national universities, a 36hr national-strike has been announced, and the dollar is going up slowly... (we have 1:1 parity by law...).
The President, Mr. De La Rua has left ahead more than 2 years of his term, but many sources indicates that he will have to resign if he do not change this directions. Also the economy minister would resign in one month... and this is the second one!
